Nice finish Marco! The teasers look great, I look forward to participating. I may have to start late (depending on when the series takes place) but I will enjoy it.

Re: VTCC1.com series
Hé guys, quick update on the event i'm working on. VTCC agreed with this and were impressed.
Only thing is, i didn't notice it was a DLC car , so i've converted the road-going version of the car as close as possible to the race version. Car was the Maserati GranTurismo MC Gt3 and is now the Maserati GranTurismo S (both2010). Times are now 3 seconds off compared to the race version, but, what was important to me, the ,fun to drive' factor is still there (basicly the speed/handling stats difference remaind the same). And, the sound's still there Having to convert the paints however will take some more time sadly, so 1st race will, probably, start a week later (november 9th).
Here are some shot's, 1 a took at Spa, the Event test-version banner, the layout from the Maserati website and what i made, and from my, initial, car. Btw, i made 6 more paint versions of that livery, different colors and a carbon version, all in all more then 50 hours put in them. All pretty close to the real series layout. Gonna be fun this, and i just hope people will participate

Re: VTCC1.com series
Here's part of the Series request that i file'd to VTCC (whole request was 13 pages, including all the paints i made). :
All you need to know about the real series can be found here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
About the series, sponsor's, the car, event's, format, series cost's, and there are lot's of picture's so people could get idea's for paint's.
I've made mandatory plate's, and people can get them on a white car if they wan't to make a complete livery themselves.
Or they can ask for a Series Standard one, which feature's a (real) series layout. This also comes with a group of official series used colors attached, which they CAN choose (or choose their own color of course). There should be mentioned however that people don't un-group/or group layers further to change colors quicker, because the paint get's screwed up then. I also made a few ,ready' versions that can be choosen. Finally, every version comes with a ,Class colors scheme' attached. And in all these version's of course the mandatory plates may not be moved. And the sponsor decals attached to series standard version, is ,advised' to leave them in place for authenticity. Other one's can be added of course.
Assisted(computer) breaking/ and steering off. Rest is open.
Damage Cosmetic. Now, the reason for this is that the car CAN pic-up transmission damage quickly, and the same applies to suspension damage on certain tracks. And it would be a shame to see people leave the lobby because of damage that they got in this way, or thru crashes/hit's (the more, the merrier so to say). All of the reasoning behind this has also to do with the format, but i'll go into that in a moment. In my opinion the penalties stay the same. If someone looses time or places because of an unfair action, then a penalty can be handed out. But those being hit can still play their part in a nice race(specially 2nd). We've already had small lobbies getting even smaller because of people, unfortunately, leaving/having to leave.
Qualifying : 15 minutes
Races : 2 races, both around 28 minutes. Pitstop in race 2.
Race 1 : Warm up lap, rolling start 60Mph
Race 2 : Standing start at the green, Reverse grid, 1 second roll off delay. Pitstop.
Explanation. Mostly after qually we see about a 2 second gap between 1-12(if lobby is 12). Gap can be more of course, but in general, looking at various events/sites it's about that. Winning race 1 and starting at the back in race 2 looses you 12 seconds at the start(with lobby of 12). So with a 12 lap race, and a theoretically 24 second's minimum covering 1st-last( some overtaking-time lost), this will probably see a great final 3rd of the race. And if quicker guys come up to a group of cars they can choose to pit, and it works also the other way around for the slower drivers to make a pit strategy during an unfolding mid-way race. This is how all involved(no damage) can keep on playing their part. The real series achieves it like this : The finishing order, first to last, of first races get pit-hold seconds added, more to less, to get a more, exciting, later part of the race. I've come up with my version to try to achieve the same. I would have liked this to start on Sunday's 20.00GMT, beginning November 9th then with Event 1. Plenty of time to do a media night till then and advertise this. Held on sunday's i might be able to get some US people to join.
List i came up with (all tested and around that 28 minutes) :
November 9 : Infineon Long 17 laps, pit race2 3-14
November 16 : Alps Stad Reverse 19 laps, pit race2 3-16
November 23 : Sunset full reverse 18 laps, pit race2 3-15
November 30 : Camino viejo extreme 10 laps, pit race2 3-7
December 7 : Catalunya full 14 laps, pit race2 3-11
December 14 : Mugello full 14 laps, pit race2 3-11
December 21 : Nordschleife 4 laps, pit race2 2-3
(Used car is now S648 class.)

Re: VTCC1.com series
Series has been approved . Taking me some 70 hours total to get this thing developed, but i'm sure it'll be worth it
Coming days we'll do a media night to get some nice shots for the website and promotional stuff. Also someone will be working on the series thread's and when that's done put the Series on their website, should be somewere in/end off the coming week.
Contact me on xbox(or here) if you want the standard setup with the wright upgrades (2010 Maserati GranTurismo S), and if you want the livery already.
This is the link for the VTCC website guys. Here you can register, introduce(if u want of course), and check the Forza4 thread(or any other). Once signed in there's also a chat section at the bottom for questions or any other stuff.
Please spread the word, and i hope we see some off the ,old' clan there.

Nice one Marco! I was going to race last Sunday(16th) but got called in to work . I have worked every Sunday so far since the series started. I am scheduled off next Sunday and hope to make an appearance for that one, it may be the only one I can make.

Re: VTCC1.com series
Lots of fun with this one Redneck, hope you can make one. My cable company increased their bandwidth for home accounts so now I get 60+ Mbps down at no additional cost and I didn't even have to bitch at them to get my speed increased. What a nice thing from them, finally.
